Milonga Brisa de la Plata's First Birthday with Marcelino Fernández and Valentina Ferrotti

We will be celebrating out first birthday with the August edition of 'Milonga Brisa de la Plata' There may be cake involved!! ✨🎂 To help us celebrate Marcelino and Valentina will not only be teaching a workshop before the milonga but, they will also be showing us how it's done with a special performance later on in the evening. Location: Crookes Social Club 17.30 -18.30 Pre Milonga workshop focusing on some fun out of axis techniques 18.30 -22.30 Milonga Workshop £10 Milonga £10 Workshop and Milonga £15 Marcelino and Valentina are also available for private lessons. We are in the main hall, so there will be plenty of space to accommodate all styles of tango, although considerate floor craft is still appreciated (no one wants a stiletto stuck in their leg). There is a bar on site and we will be providing pizza at half time -head count for ordering the pizza is done around 19.30. We will have play a mix of Traditional, Electronic & Nuevo tango tracks, all together on the same dance floor. Music will be played in tandas with a TTVTTM format, so you know what is coming next! If arriving by car there is some free parking at the venue and lots of free on-street parking around the venue. If using public transport you can catch the 52 bus from Sheffield city center up to Crookes Entrance Fee: £10 (cash only for now)
