Milonga del Fuego

The Warwick Argentine Tango Society is inviting all dedicated tangueros, old and new, to join our very special "Milonga del Fuego" on Saturday the 4th of February! The aim of the theme is to bring out the passion that has been part of tango dancing since its very beginning and that has inspired the metaphor of 'el fuego' (the flame/fire 🔥) which occurs again and again in tango music, milongas, and tango shows around the world. So what better way to express el fuego than with a RED colour theme?! Everyone is encouraged to incorporate the colour red in their outfit (e.g. an item of clothing, accessories, etc. – get creative!)🤩 As usual snacks and drinks will be provided, but any contributions to the buffet are very welcome. Last but not least, get ready to experiment with a playlist consisting of traditional but also alternative, non-tango music! 🎶 Date: Saturday 4th February Time: 7-10pm Place: G55 Millburn House (Studio 1) Dresscode: red! Bring your dance shoes (or socks!) and your internal flame and get ready to dance the evening away! 💃🕺
