We’ll begin with a special pre-milonga class taught by our guest artists, Raquel Makow & Gabriel Magni. Class Topic: Expressing Different Musical Styles Through Close-Embrace Giros Later in the evening, Raquel and Gabriel will return to the dance floor for a special performance. Raquel has extensive training in Argentine tango, Latin ballroom, ballet, and jazz. She is a seven-time finalist in the Tango World Championship and earned second place in 2020. Gabriel brings years of experience teaching, performing, and choreographing Argentine tango. His approach emphasizes musical expression, strong fundamentals, and the natural elegance of social tango. Together, they share a passion for interpreting the unique character of each orchestra through the embrace. We are excited to welcome them to Milonga Gavito for this special class and performance.
