We are so excited to announce an special evening at Tango Etnia! After a long absence of concerts we are honour to host a very intimate concert from Duo, Quilici-Tessa. Carlos (bandoneon) & Martín (guitar)will play a short set specially for dancing at Tango Etnia. Please, come early if you would like to catch them while they play as we are planing to start early. The doors will open at 6.15pm with TDJ BETO, at the deck, and the concert will start at about 7pm. We are looking forward to embracing you all @Tango Etnia this Sunday! "The careers of these artists span more than 3 and 4 decades respectively. They, along with other prominent artists, were a fundamental part of the Tango movement that revitalized it as a musical and dance genre in the late 1990s in Argentina, specifically in Rosario (my hometown) and its surrounding areas. They were, quite literally, the young and audacious flame that ignited and expanded what later became the national and international phenomenon of Tango we all know today. It's worth mentioning that the TDJ, our dear Beto Ortiz, was also part of the same movement that was happening concurrently in Buenos Aires. In his case, he was a Tango Salón dancer and teacher, an actor and later also a TDJ, who performed on national and international scenes before settling in the UK.
