Dear Tangueros, Join us at Milonga Mariposa on November 1st for Día De Los Muertos Edition. What better way to honor those who have passed on by celebrating life with dance. We are excited to welcome Francesco Forquera & Maria Ceva to our milonga. They will give the premilonga class! Also, we have the pleasure to welcome Olivia & Fernando, amazing tango dancers from Brazil to give a special performance. And we can't wait to have Pipe as our Dj for the first time. A spooky and seductive atmosphere will be provided by Dion Mucciacito with his surreal, psychedelic art film, “PANOPTICON” projected as a backdrop for the milonga. He will also be taking artistic photos as we dance using the lights to create a Film Noir atmosphere. A little About Olivia & Fernando: Olivia and Fernando are Brazilian tango artists, choreographers, teachers and directors with a thirty-year career that claims several esteemed titles and awards. They currently live, teach and perform in Buenos Aires. They are founders of the EsTudo Tango method, producers of the EsTudo Tango International Congress in Buenos Aires and co-authors of the book “Themes of Argentine Tango - Argentina and Brazil.” You can find many of their acclaimed courses online under the names “Estudo Tango.” Olivia and and Fernando have taught in over 28 cities throughout Brazil and Argentina and are making their debut in the United States this fall, bringing their EsTudo Tango method to the West Coast and throughout some southern states.
