We are excited to have our lovely Julieta to teach and perform with her partner Alejandro who is currently visiting from Europe. Also, we have the pleasure to welcome DJ Misha from Las Vegas who will Dj at Mariposa for the first time. Milonga Mariposa is known for it's seductive and intimate atmosphere while attracting high level of social and professional dancers. A little About Julieta & Alejandro: Julieta and Alejandro are well known for their unique and expressive style . They started dancing together in Buenos Aires in 2012 and since then they have been performing and teaching internationally. Alejandro, based now in Brussels , started his tango journey in the 2000 and was a former dancer of Piazzolla Tango, El Viejo Almacén, Catulo Tango, among other houses of tango in Buenos Aires. He was part of dance companies and shows like Tango Viaje al Sentimiento, Tango en Tierra del Fuego, Femme Tango among others. Julieta, a movement artist, a pianist, an ex national gymnastic for the Argentinian team Velez Sarsfield, has an extensive professional tango dance career as well as in other dances like burlesque, ballet and flamenco . She is also Gyrokinesis trainer and an equestrian . In her teachings she combines traditional and contemporary techniques that she had gasped since 1997. She directed and produced the first Women’s Tango Festival in Mexico, La Juana de Arco and had performed in several tango events around the world. Their influences and teachers are Maestro Raul Bravo , Jorge Torres , Julio Balmaceda , Geraldin Rojas and Gavito .
