Milonga with live live music by Shinjoo Cho, Alejo de los Reyes and Pablo Lanouguere. Alejo is one of the most highly regarded Tango guitarists in the world. He is on tour and VivaTango is please to host him for your dancing pleasure. He is joined by Shinjoo and Pablo – both extraordinary Tango musicians based here in the NYC and Philly area. Alejo is a third-generation Argentine guitarist trained by his father and grandfather. He has performed in many prestigious events around the world. He is also a composer and recording artist. Shinjoo (bandoneon) is a leader and member of Tango musical groups in the Philly and NYC area. Pablo (double-base) is also a well know Tango musician and frequent performer at VivaTango. These three musicians recently performed in NYC at the Lincoln Center, Summer for the City concert as part of the Abbadon Tango Group performance. Come see these amazing musicians in the intimate venue of the VivaTango dance floor. DJ Kerry Kay will be the host of this milonga. She will play Tangos for your dancing pleasure starting at 7 PM.
