Milonga with Live Music by Tango with Winnie Duo Plus DJ Kerry Kay

Thursday April 27th Winnie Cheung, Piano, Keyboard, Bandoneon and Natsuki Nishijara, Bandoneon, will bring live music to VivaTango. First a workshop where they will play, dance and instruct about the different layers of some iconic tangos to see how the magnetic push-and-pull happens within the music and the dance. Then they will play live music during the milonga. Winnie’s purpose in life is to make the world a better place, one tango at a time. She has played over 300 tango events in the USA, Canada, Asia, Argentina, and even Antarctica. Natsuki performs as a bandoneon soloist in the most prestigious tanguerias of Buenos Aires: Esquina Homero Manzi, Café Tortoni, Tango Porteno. She is also part of several groups with international tours in the USA, Canada and Japan. She performed at VivaTango with the Yazmina Raies Trio last year. DJ Kerry Kay will play tandas between live music sets. $20
