He is widely regarded for his breadth and depth of knowledge in multiple partner dance forms including salsa, bachata, kizomba, west coast swing, and brazilian zouk. He placed 2nd in the 2022 Brazilian Zouk World Championships with Ashe Jordan and 3rd in the 2018 U.S. Zouk Open with Elena Rovito.! Imaan is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Omni Movement, a non-profit organization based in Oakland, CA, whose mission is to make partner dance accessible.
