💜NATASHA BARBARÁ💜
For me, tango is a language, a means of expression, communication and dialogue. I was born in Argentina and started my tango training in 2004. I am a dancer and teacher of this art, and I have accompanied my artistic training with Classical and Contemporary Ballet, Design and Costumes for Dance, Body Expression, Theatre and Integral Yoga.
I am dedicated to researching tango and the body, exploring the expressive and didactic possibilities of movement. In 2013, I created and performed artistic interventions and performances with the company ‘Lado B’. Since 2015, I have been musicalising milongas and tango gatherings, bringing my vision and creativity to each event.
Since 2018, I have been living in Europe, where I have continued to dance tango, contemporary dance and performance. In 2021, I founded the company Elementas, focusing on contemporary dance and interdisciplinary arts. Since 2023, I am the protagonist of ‘Alice in Tangoland’ at the company Cirque Sauvage in Spain.
I organise various milongas, regular classes, workshops and special participations in festivals and cultural events. Currently, I live in Berlin, where I continue to share my passion for tango with new generations of dancers.
💜CELESTE RODRIGUEZ💜
I am a dancer, tango teacher and milonguera, born in Buenos Aires. I started dancing tango in 2005 as a game and quickly tango became a way of life. In 2009 I decided to dedicate myself professionally to this dance and started teaching in 2012.
I graduated as a tango dance instructor in 2013 at CETBA (Centro Educativo de Tango de Buenos Aires), and I have a degree in Dance Pedagogy in Germany. In my 17 years with tango I have had the opportunity to take classes with masters of traditional tango, tango nuevo and queer tango so I manage both roles; and although my personal search is for a more traditional style, I use elements of all styles when teaching my classes.
I have successfully organized milongas both in Buenos Aires and Berlin, among them La Domilonga Tango Club, which I organized simultaneously in both cities between 2012 and 2020.
