Joignez-vous à notre belle gang des mercredis pour un projet estival rafraîchissant! Ce projet cible particulièrement les danseurs/es qui ont une expérience limitée ou inexistante avec les troupes. Dans cette troupe, nous allons: - couvrir les différences entre être un/e étudiant/e et un/e membre de troupe; - étendre notre vocabulaire de Lindy Hop et Charleston; - démontrer les grands principes des alignements de groupe; - apprendre à travailler en tant qu'équipe vers des buts personnels et communs; - et, évidemment, vous faire apprendre et performer une chorégraphie! Pour vous donner une idée du niveau: la plupart des membres de cette équipe ont terminé leur Swing 9 avec Maryse et Zack. Un vocabulaire expansif et un guidage clair sont donc attendus chez les leads - côté follows, on recherche des personnes ayant une bonne capacité à reconnaître et interpréter plusieurs types de dynamiques. This project is especially geared toward dancers with little or no prior experience in troupes. In this troupe, we will: - Cover the differences between being a student and being a troupe member; - Expand our Lindy Hop and Charleston vocabulary; - Demonstrate key principles of group formations and spacing; - Learn how to work as a team toward both personal and shared goals; - And, of course, teach you and have you perform a choreography! To give you an idea of the level: most members of this team have completed Swing 9 with Maryse and Zack. Therefore, leads are expected to have a broad vocabulary and clear guidance skills. For follows, we’re looking for individuals with a strong ability to recognize and interpret various types of dynamics. Feel free to reach out if you're unsure about your fit!
