Starting out as a game composer, he contributed tracks to Riot Games' League of Legends. Currently he hosts events in Boston as 1/2 of m(ux). *destracshn* m(ux) destracshn is a Boston-based musician who is consumed by rhythm and fascinated by the richness of harmony. A drummer turned producer turned DJ, his musical rebirths has given him a rare intuition in finding tracks that move the soul, and his selection knows no bound. Dusty has been apart of and curated some local staple events such as Grassfed Disco, Mirrorshades and part of the Basement Movement Collective. A long-standing stalwart of the New England underground scene, Damien has dedicated his work to combining cutting-edge visual arts with emerging sounds to create transformational dance music experiences. His events have earned him critical acclaim, ranging from a "2012 Best of Boston" award for his residency at Good Life, to helping RISE earn a "Top 100 Clubs" award by DJ Mag with his Wonderland weekly event series. His visual art has been featured by the City of Chelsea, Somerville's Boynton Yards District, Artisans Asylum, and The Boston Children's Museum.
