Monday Tango & Chacarera Practice with Anastassia Runina DJ Panos 🎵

Every Monday is a special day and this Monday will not be an exception! 🎉 Let’s give a heartfelt welcome to 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗮 💃🏻 sharing her passion for Argentine Folklore with Stockholm tango community for the first time; and much-missed 𝗗𝗝 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘀 (𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙮𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙪) 🎵 joining us for a Monday blast! This Monday, we will go deeper into the ancient Argentinian culture and get in touch with some folklore dancing. The magic syllables: CHA-CA-RE-RA—you have certainly heard about it, or maybe even danced it at milongas around the world. Now it’s time to ask all the questions you had about it and finally learn it. 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 & 𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲. ☝️ WS Theme:✨Chacarera✨ is one of the most famous dances in Argentinian dancing tradition. It comes from Santiago del Estero, and it is popular through the centuries nowadays all over Argentina and worldwide. Chacarera is about two people meeting each other and sharing their soul for this moment of dancing. It can be fast and joyful as well as slow and romantic. In this dance a man and a woman dance without touching each other, which makes the communication between them even more intimate. We’ll start working on posture and couple inner space, scheme, step dynamics and music details. ✌️ After an hour of study, we will chacarera into a Dance-Hard Practica at 19:00, which will surely end with a chacarera tanda. Looking forward to embracing you soon! ❤️ / Sujy, Anna E, Nina C, Nomi, Giovanni, Anastassia & Panos A B O U T ___________________________ 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗮 has started Argentinian folklore dancing in 2014 - she was lucky to be among the students of Emilio Cornejo for many years, as well as to take classes of Jorge Caballero, Jesus Gorgone, Ernesto Carmona, Marcelo Varela, Analia Vega, Candelaria Torres, Ivan Vivas, Jorge Matias Alba, Maru Arevalo, Ljubov Boyko, Viktoria Lizunova, Maria Moreno, Semeon Kukormin, etc. She was also among first folklore DJs in Moscow and one of the organizers of peña Buena Onda since 2017, later holding her own Peña в Стакане, giving regular classes of Argentinian folklore, supporting and being part of other peñas such as Peña Tres Pasos, Peña del Mar and Peña com Amor. Her superpower is promoting Argentinian folklore everywhere she goes and making people dance chacarera drunk in the morning. And most importantly, she would like to start a movement in our tango community—by facilitating more activities to explore Argentinian folklore culture together, on a regular basis.
