MONDAY TANGO PRACTICE - A VERY SPECIAL “DINZEL EDITION”

MONDAYS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SPECIAL... ❤️ (Swedish below) 🧡 Monday Tango Practice has always been special. It was special when it was at Lignagatan, and it is turning into something special now that we are at Kungsholmens Kulturhus. 💛 The volunteers of our community who come together to make it happen are part of what makes it special, but more than anything, what makes Mondays special is YOU. 💚 Yes, you, who comes to dare to try out something new, to work out a specific challenge, to practice like hell, or just to spend some time with your tango family over some hugs, some chit-chat and some fika. 💙 That’s why every Monday is, has been, and always will be special. And this Monday will be no exception. 💜 As we take a break from our usual Monday activities with Paulina, our beloved practica couldn't be in safer hands with Jessica and Jonathan from Buenos Aires' Dinzel Studio. 🧘‍♀️We start off with the 5th and final workshop of the Dinzel weekend, where we will be focusing on “The Three Cs: Communication, Connection & Calm.” As Jessica and Jonathan write in the description of their workshop: "One of the most difficult things in life is to slow down and not let the hectic parts of society rush us. We believe this is one of the most beautiful things that tango allows us to connect with: a sense of calm and presence. In this class we’ll practice connecting with the present, rather than with the movement and, through this, discover new paths we couldn’t have imagined otherwise." Både när den hölls på Lignagatan, och nu på Kungsholmens Kulturhus. 💛 Våra volontärer som kommer samman för att få det att fungera är en del av det som gör det speciellt, men det som framför allt gör måndagarna speciella är DU. 💚 Ja, du, som vågar komma för att pröva något nytt, för att ta dig an en specifik utmaning, för att öva som en galning, eller bara för att umgås med din tangofamilj genom kramar, småprat och fika. 💙 Det är därför varje måndag är, har varit, och alltid kommer att vara speciell. Och den här måndagen är inget undantag. 💜 När vi tar en paus från våra vanliga aktiviteter med Paulina, så lägger vi vår älskade practica i mycket trygga händer tillhörande Jessica och Jonathan från Dinzelstudion i Buenos Aires. 🧘‍♀️Vi inleder med Dinzelhelgens femte och sista workshop, där vi kommer att fokusera på att behålla lugnet och hitta närvaron i dansen: “The Three Cs: Communication, Connection & Calm.” Som Jessica och Jonathan säger i beskrivningen av sin workshop: "Något av det svåraste som finns är att sakta ned och inte låta sig jäktas av hetsen i samhället. Vi anser att det är en av tangons stora gåvor: att den tillåter oss att komma i kontakt med ett lugn och en närvaro. Den här workshopen handlar om att låta oss guidas av närvaron, snarare än av rörelser, och hitta nya vägar i danser som inte hade kunnat föreställa oss annars."
