About this Event
2019!!
We welcome you to our Salsa classes at The Southbank Club, Bristol :)
For all you 'Movers' out there 'Love4salsa' is now on MoveGB:
http://www.movegb.com/venue/8890
(Please note that from this year check in from the Movers is still required but I will also be checking in those that have booked so if you cannot make it please private message me so that I know NOT to check you in!)
Our classes have been ongoing for more than 3 years now and we like to think that we have helped people progress in their dancing abilities immensely throughout that time.
With 2019 settling in well we continue on full throttle teaching everything from the fundamentals of Salsa right through to the finer details that make for a great dancer.
We have always maintained teaching to a high quality and standard making sure our students understand the importance of basic movements and steps as well as integrate turn patterns.
Our teachers on hand are some of the best (already established and fast upcoming) in the South West region and so you are probably in one of the best places to learn everything from technique to flare and style!
Here is a short bio of the fantastic teachers you will get to learn from and experience the fun of learning Salsa:
Charlie Webb:
Your weekly Level 1 and 1.5 instructor.
Although still relatively new to teaching Charlie has great dancing ability, understanding of timing and structure which is fundamental at Level 1 and the students will learn a great deal from him. He is known for his excellence in breaking down movements and steps and from the way he carries his classes has given him immense popularity among his students.
Eddie Hunt:
Your alternate fortnight Level 2 and 3+ instructor.
Eddie needs no real introduction as he is a well established and sought after instructor nationwide with Abanico Salsa. I love Eddie's style and teaching methods and I know that the students at this level will truly benefit from his experience. His smooth movements and ability to show how easy it is to execute makes for a world class addition to the team!
Darran Brady (myself):
I myself will be alternating with Eddie so the structure of Level 3+ will be one that allows us to work with the students on a particular pattern and again recap on the second week to drive home the movements, techniques and add on if we can. I have over 18 years experience of dancing Salsa, having learned and worked along side some of the biggest names on the International dance circuit and strive to pass on my knowledge and experience in the best way I can!
Levels 1, 1.5 and 2 will now be working off a dance syllabus to ensure we cover basics and fundamentals before moving students to the next level.
Level 3+ will work on integrate turn patterns with the aim of recapping every 2nd week.
