Monika's Ladies Project Team — Canberra Join Saki for an empowering 5-week journey (2hrs × 5 weeks = 10hrs total) with Monika's Ladies Project Team — Canberra, in collaboration with international bachata icon Monika (@monika_salsa_bachata). For the first time, Monika is bringing her Ladies Project Team to Australia — and Saki is honoured to represent Canberra in this national-level performance initiative. Monika is a multiple Jack & Jill bachata champion and one of the most in-demand artists on the global bachata scene, known for her powerful and musical choreography, feminine styling, precision and stage presence. With 10+ years of bachata teaching experience and 20+ years of dance experience overall, Saki will travel down from Sydney each week to personally train the team, bringing her technique-focused approach and Monika's signature style, technique and performance quality to life. Whether you're looking to elevate your styling, challenge yourself or step into the spotlight — this project is designed to push your growth and celebrate your artistry. When: Saturdays, 3:30–5:30 pm — starting July 4th for 5 consecutive weeks Where: Latin Dance Canberra (above King O'Malley's), Level 2/131 City Walk, Canberra ACT 2601 Premiere performance: Bachata Flavour Festival, Melbourne (August 7–8) alongside Monika herself and Australian teams from other cities. Performing at BFF is optional — a video project and local performance opportunities will also be available.
