To mark its 20th anniversary, the club's founder and resident, Afshin, will be performing. Afshin began his career in the Parisian house scene by throwing acid house nights with Laurent Garnier, inviting legends such as Joey Negro and Norman Jay to host the 'Sweet House party’ in the 90s. In 2003 he founded the legendary Djoon Club which quickly became the reference point for house culture in Paris, and a European hot spot for house dancers from Chicago to Johannesburg. It must be deliciously bewildering to get recognition from those who inspired you in the very beginning. French House Music DJ - producer Franck Roger is no stranger to this feeling. When not travelling the world accepting club invitations, this devoted crate digger spends time in his Parisian studio messing with beats and loops. Groove Boys Project is the association of two young French artists Boyzi & Projecture, residents of the Sarcus Festival, Increase the Groove, La Menace Records, Amsem Records, Zoll Projekt & SoundMotion. Behind the decks, the two Groove Boys masterfully compose a selecta oriented towards soul, funk, disco or 90's house sets. Karlainthemix is a DJ, dancer and a bonafide club head from Finnish origin, who spent years on the dancefloors of different clubs worldwide before moving to Paris in 2018, where she is a resident DJ at the underground music temple the Djoon club. Known for delivering deep and soulful club vibes colored by rhythms that will surely get the dancefloor moving, she has recently played festivals such as Suncebeat, Flow Festival and toured spinning in clubs from Paris to Helsinki and New York to Houston. When she is not on the decks, you can surely find her on the dancefloor until the break of dawn. Soulidan, Georgian for "from the soul", is a project by our resident artist, Tamaz Tskhakaia. This project evokes deep emotional comfort and happiness, and much like the name suggests, comes from the soul of the artist. Every musical phrase, every note and melody carries a personal story, waiting to be told.
