Les Productions Bachata Knights sont fières de vous présenter le « Montréal Bachata Week-End », du vendredi 14 décembre au dimanche 16 décembre! Pour les véritables passionnés de la bachata, nous vous avons préparé une distribution d’artistes internationaux jamais vus à Montréal. Ces artistes seront parmi nous pour vous partager leur connaissance et qui sait…peut-être une danse avec vous! De plus, nous mettrons en vedette des enseignants et DJs locaux, tels que Julie Girard, Renaud Ayotte et Jean Nonez. Qu’est-ce qu’un mordu de la bachata pourrait demander de plus? De Barcelone, en Espagne, nous vous présentons deux des artistes de la bachata les plus reconnus et populaires de l’Europe, Frank Santos et sa partenaire Gatica. Le style unique et distinct de Frank est né d’une fusion de ses racines antillaises et de différentes danses urbaines, telles le hip hop. Un réel innovateur, Frank a créé un style de bachata mariant le traditionnel et le sensuel. Sa partenaire Gatica est tout aussi polyvalente et a elle aussi créé un nouveau style de bachata, nommé Bachata Nueva, jumelant les danses classiques et urbaines. Ce couple dynamique enseignera, se produira et dansera lors des soirées du Montréal Bachata Week-end. De New York, nous vous présentons le danseur accompli qu’est Matthew Rivera! Son cheminement et sa formation de danse incluent le ballet, le jazz, le contemporain, le hip hop ainsi que le Bollywood, faisant de lui un artiste véritablement accompli. Matthew a dansé pour plusieurs artistes internationaux de renom tels que Toby Love. Il nous présentera son style de fusion latine dans le cadre du Montréal Bachata Week-End; ne manquez surtout pas ses ateliers, ses prestations, ainsi qu’une occasion de partager une danse avec lui! En plus de ces merveilleux artistes internationaux, nous sommes plus qu’excités de vous présenter DJ Khalid, venu de la Suède. Ce DJ et producteur de bachata de renommée internationale d’origine marocaine a eu un impact important sur les amoureux de la bachata partout au monde, grâce en partie à ses très populaires chaînes YouTube et Spotify. De plus, il a collaboré avec des artistes tels Dani J, Grupo Extra et Ephrem, et agit à titre de DJ officiel pour Daniel y Desirée, ainsi que Sergio y Marichu. DJ Khalid sera parmi nous lors du Montréal Bachata Week-End pour nous partager sa « saveur » particulière de bachata! For the truly passionate bachata adepts, we have an incredible line up of international bachata artists never before seen here in Montreal, ready to share their knowledge…or perhaps a dance with you! In addition, we’ll be showcasing some of the best local bachata teachers and DJs, namely Julie Girard, Renaud Ayotte and Jean Nonez. What more can a bachata lover ask for?! From Barcelona, Spain, we bring you two of the most recognized and popular bachata artists, Frank Santos and his partner Gatica. Frank’s unique and refreshing bachata style was born from a fusion of his Caribbean roots with various urban dances, such as hip hop. As a true innovator, Frank created a Dominican fusion bachata, blending both traditional and sensual styles. His partner Gatica is just as versatile and also created a new bachata style, dubbed Bachata Nueva, which blends classical and urban dances. This powerhouse couple will be at the Montreal Bachata Week-end to teach, perform and social dance. And from New York, we bring you the total package that is Matthew Rivera! His dance background and training spans ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop as well as Bollywood, making him a truly well-rounded dancer. He has danced for a number of well-known artists such as international Bachata artist Toby Love. Matthew will bring his Latin Fusion style to the Montreal Bachata Week-End; don’t miss his workshops, shows as well as an opportunity grab him on the dance floor! In addition to these wonderful international artists, we’re beyond excited to bring you DJ Khalid, all the way from Sweden. This internationally recognized and acclaimed bachata DJ and producer of Moroccan origin has had an important impact on the bachata music lovers the world over, thanks in part to his very popular YouTube and Spotify presence. He has collaborated with such artists as Dani J, Grupo Extra, and Ephrem J and is the official DJ of Daniel y Desirée and Sergio y Marichu. He will be bringing us his very own bachata flavor during the Montreal Bachata Week-end!
