Montuno Monthly Christmas (B.Y.O) Wear Something Red Party with Edwin Rodriguez Ovalle

!!!!!!! IT'S CHRISTMAS !!!!!!! Join Lee and James along with our Guest this month for the Montuno Monthly Christmas Party - Guest teacher is Edwin Rodriguez Ovalle. As it's Christmas we will have a theme of Wear something Red. Class this month will be a Boogaloo for all levels with Edwin in the Main Hall. For now these events are a Bring Your Own Drinks, FREE parking on site and one of, if not the best wooden floors in Bristol. We would ask people not to put down talc as it is not needed with the refurbished floor. Guest Teacher Edwin Rodriguez Ovalle Edwin Rodriguez was born in Mexico City and he is an exceptional dancer in so many disciplines. Edwin helped found Latin Brothers UK and is a very humble professional dancer, who specialises in Latin Rhythms. Combining this with his contemporary style, Edwin composes unique performances which leave his audience captivated. His other main passion is choreography and teaching people of all abilities and ages to dance. He has studied with the great International Salsa Teachers, with Ballet Masters and body movement coaches, honing his skills, expanding his abilities and understanding more every day the intricacies of this varied and powerful dance. He has been performing nationally and internationally over the last 6 years and rightly so having won various competitions along the way in Mexico. Edwin moved to the UK in 2016 and he is currently performing and teaching at Salsa Socials and Congresses across the UK. His goal is to expand Salsa throughout the UK bringing that unique touch of Mexican flavour. The following Covid Policy will apply to all Events and Classes that are run by Salsa Montuno. We do not mind you attending if you are vaccinated, non vaccinated by choice or for medical reasons as long as you take a negative Lateral Flow Test and register it with the NHS and can provide either confirmation by text or email to show it was taken within 24 hours of the event to gain entry, details below: Due to the current COVID pandemic we feel it’s our social responsibility to help protect our dance community from contracting the illness. As any vaccinated or non vaccinated person are still able to carry the virus, we would like to ask everyone to take a lateral flow test which are free from your local chemist, and a negative result is a pre-requisite to attend the event, you need a code from https://www.nhs.uk/.../regular-rapid-coronavirus-tests.../ Once you have submitted and registered your result (instructions how to do so are in the packaging), you will receive a text and / or email confirming your negative result and this can be used as proof for entry.
