Montuno Monthly is back in April with Guest teacher Rohan Brown, who will be taking two classes during the evening and joining Dj Swift on the decks for the night. Join for another Fantastic night of Fabulous Lessons, Music and #Dancing at this great venue. One of, if not the best wooden dance floors in Bristol Cheap Bar FREE Onsite parking We will also be bringing back #Kizomba & #Bachata in the second room. To relaunch the Kizomba room we will be joined by DJ Ralph Taylor from Wales. Music in the main room will be a mix: 60% Salsa - 20% Bachata - 20% Cha Cha The second room will play a mix of Bachata & Kizomba through out the night. 19:15 Doors Open 19:30 - 20:15 Improvers Bachata with Rohan 20:15 - 21:00 Improver / Intermediate Salsa with Rohan Beginners / Improvers Salsa with Lee 21:00 - Midnight Social Dancing Rohan Brown: The ever popular Rohan brown is based in Birmingham, England. His pre salsa career took him around the world in careers such as: pro basket ball, semi pro athletics, cat walk model, university graduate and international development officer with the United nations. Rohan's first encounter with salsa was whilst stationed in Puerto Rico. Since then has pursued his career to the highest level and taught, DJ, compared and promoted him self around the world. He could be easily described as one of the hardest working men in salsa and one of the best all rounder's on the international Scene. His jazz back ground helps him to focus his teaching on the basic principles of fluid body movement and personal development and having lots of fun. DJ Ralph Taylor DJ, Events organiser and Promoter. Ralph fell in love with Kizomba back in 2012, having being taught by David Flor and to date International teacher Jaydikson Lima. In August 2016 Ralph was the founder of Kizomba Sundays Cardiff, a place originally set up for the people of Cardiff and the surrounding areas to go along to a specific venue and share their passion with friends alike for this beautiful dance. Now Ralph has recently started running / hosting Kizomba / Semba day workshops on a quarterly basis in Cardiff.
