How Does Lodging Work?
This is a 5 bedroom, 21 person cabin.
Rooming will be on a first come first serve basis, and some people may be sleeping in the common areas such as on a couch or air mattress. If a room is required for any reason, just message the page. Sleeping spots can be reserved for extenuating circumstances.
What about the famous moonshine tasting?
The moonshine venue is quite far from the cabin, and we'd rather spend our time in the woods than driving to a bar. Any of the locals can definitely recommend your favorite flavors. If there's enough interest, we may be able to recreate our own tasting in the cabin ;)
About the instructor:
Brad Meccia has been dancing Brazilian Zouk for over 9 years and has trained some in Lambada since the beginning. Last year alone, he completed over 150 hours of certification courses with Master Braz (Intermediate, Instructor, and Elite) as well as performing in a HipHop/Lambada piece. In addition to the Lambada training, Brad has trained extensively in Rio with various instructors including time spent in Brazil training with the Masters. He's also certified in NeoZouk by Marcos "Mafie" Mendoca. This gives him a broad field of knowledge to help describe the differences in the lines of zouk.
In addition to his dance training, Brad has attained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in biomechanics. This makes him uniquely qualified to answer questions about how to use the body to create specific motions.
