His versatility extends to playing bass and horns in various groups, exploring genres as diverse as Turkish, Balkan, Cumbia, Brazilian, Salsa, Funk, and more. His relentless quest for unique rhythms and melodies has taken him to the jungles of Nicaragua and the mythical islands of the Caribbean Sea.When not capturing field recordings or performing live, Wise releases music on esteemed labels like Délicieuse Records, Lips & Rhythm, Mule Musiq, and Cafe Anatolia. His studio dedication is unwavering, with his original tracks often showcasing a well-blended mix of global dance music, disco, boogie funk, and house. In live performances, Wise incorporates a variety of instruments, infusing his sets with an energetic and hypnotic blend of funky underground ethnomusicology. As the host of the Hi LifeParty, a pop-up global music celebration, he dedicates himself to showcasing the beauty of diverse musical traditions.
