VESICA // Music Facilitator VESICA is an Oakland-based Ecstatic Dance DJ whose journey began in the early days at the Ecstatic Dance at Sweets Ballroom in 2008. In 2010, VESICA co-founded Ecstatic Dance Berlin —the movement’s first international offshoot— helping spark its worldwide spread. Since then, VESICA has been invited to share sets across the world, from Lightning in a Bottle and cities like Los Angeles, Nevada City, and Oakland, to far-reaching dance floors in Moscow, Bukarest, Barcelona, and Ibiza. VESICA is a dancers’ DJ with a predilection for soulful organic world beats and scrumptious global bass. Her sets are poly-genre, tempo-morphing, dance floor love that irresistibly moves feet, hips and heart into a deep and embodied journey of catharsis and transformation. 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐑 // 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚t𝐨𝐫 International dance artist, instructor, performer, and transformational movement guide - Her journey has taken her across more than ten countries—from the studios of Broadway Dance Center in New York to the somatic richness of Faculdade Angel Vianna in Rio de Janeiro. Rooted in contemporary dance and Brazilian social dances, her path weaves through somatic education, contact improvisation, bodywork, yoga, gyrokinesis, and transpersonal psychology. Brigitte's passion is in integrating these worlds—guiding people into deeper connection with themselves through embodied movement and creative expression. As part of her ongoing research, she developed Liquid Leading—a practice that transcends traditional gender roles and invites each dancer to speak their truth through movement. It transforms dance into a co-creative language where stories can be exchanged, not just performed. "To me, dance is more than art or fitness—it’s a gateway. A tool for awareness, expression, healing, and transformation. I hold space for play, experimentation, and deep listening—so you can return to your body, your power, and the ever-evolving dance of your life."
