Movement Medicine - Holiday Midmorning Reset!

Does the Winter Freeze & Holiday Frazzle have you yearning for some extra Warmth, Fun, and Restorative Bedazzle?! Well then, join us for a Movement Medicine - Holiday Reset! A Release & Rest Community Dance Experience to help you return to Wholeness amidst the holiday hustle & bustle. THIS Sunday December 14th, 11 AM - 12:15 PM in the beautiful new Nova Dance Studio in Dormont - Free Parking. Accessible venue! This is an Adult focused 18+ event. We will ground & center, dance & release, nurture & rest. This is a skillfully guided, free-form mindful movement and dance experience led by a newly minted cohort of Movement Medicine facilitators and hosted by Ecstatic Dance Pittsburgh founder, Tricia Chirumbole. Our Sunday Movement Medicine Experience will include: ~Opening Welcome Circle ~Guided Dance Exploration for Nurturing Mind, Body & Soul ~A Magical Musical Backdrop ~A Rest & Reiki (optional) Integration capstone ~Closing Circle with Organic Chocolate Meditation (Date/Carrot options) & Community Shares (optional) ~15 min Mix & Mingle OR Journal/IReflect 12:15 - 12:30 PM (optional) ~Drawing materials for Reflection & Integration (in last 15 or throughout) We aim to provide a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive experience. This class is for ALL bodies and all ability levels (18+ yrs of age) Come as You Are ~ Move as You Please How to prepare: We will dance in bare feet, socks, or soft dance shoes. Please dress in comfortable layers (good heating in space, but we will be speeding up and cooling down), bring a water bottle (filtered water refills available), and a journal if you are called.
