October 25th - 27th, 2019 15th Munich Balboa and Shag Weekend – One of the longest-running Balboa & Shag Events – We are looking forward to welcoming you in Munich to the 15th edition of the Munich Balboa and Shag Weekend! As every year we provide you with a special line-up of best international instructors in a cosy and family atmosphere. Don't miss the opportunity to discover your passion for Balboa and Shag to improve your skills and to have fun with like-minded people. Learn new moves to have more fun with your partner on the dance floor. The exact date will be announced shortly. You can also sign up for the newsletter to be automatically informed about all important things. ******Saturday Party Tickets****** Due to the limited number of tickets for the Saturday night party, tickets are only available in combination with a registration for the workshops until Oct 5th. If not sold out before a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase without a workshop registration from Oct 6th. ******Swing Breakfast****** After the great success last year we will offer again a Swing Breakfast on Sunday morning. Get a perfect start into the day with Shakin' All, good food and great dances. ******Special St. Louis Shag class on Friday****** There will be a special open level St. Louis Shag class with Stephen and Viviane on Friday before the party. You can participate without a workshop booking. ******Special Slow Bal class on Saturday****** There will be a special open level Slow Bal class with Patrick and Elisabeth on Saturday before the party. You can participate without a workshop booking. *****Workshops (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)***** Classes in Balboa & Shag (3 hour units with different instructors) Levels: Beginners, Beginners/Intermediate, Intermediate, Intermediate/Advanced, Advanced *****Partys***** Friday: Dance Party "Start Cheering" with DJane Lilo B. Saturday: Dance Party "White Heat" with live music from the fantastic Shakin' All from Spain + DJane Zazie Métro Sunday morning: Swing Breakfast with live music from 9:30 - 11:30 h Sunday evening: 50's Record Hop at the Vintage Club (join the teachers for some hot dances) *****Contests***** Friday: Jack'n'Jill Balboa & Shag Saturday: Balboa & Shag Couples *****Locations - all in the city center (Karlsplatz/Stachus)***** Partys are happening at the Vintage Club Workshops are happening at the Vintage Club and in some other studios nearby (all wooden floors) *****Accommodation***** Hotel Wallis is offering special reduced rates for all MBSW participants.
