Music Dance Improv Jam: Stephen Katz and Contact Improv

Experience the fusion of cellist, Stephen Katz and Contact Improvisation. Stephen's improvised loops will transport you to uncharted dance realms. A seasoned collaborator with the New England CI community, Stephen responds to the dancers as they respond to him, creating a mesmerizing synergy. If you know Stephen, you love his work. If he is new for you, prepare for an unforgettable jam that blurs the lines between music and movement. Contact Improv Boston hosts this jam for any and all dancers, no expeience needed, just enthusiasm. Dance in duets, solo, or in groups, on the floor, in the air and everwher in between - nothing is impossible. Price:$25 (sliding scale 10-35, but no one turned away for lack of funds) Music promptly 7:30- 10pm, Doors open at 7 so we can arrive and settle in for a focused evening. CIB honors personal choice about masking and vaccines. Do not attend if you are feeling sick, have a positive Covid test or if you have recently had contact with someone with active Covid symptoms.
