Musicality & Movement Immersion with Artia Zandian

Yes, after the success of our fabulous event in September, Arti is back and bringing his knowledge and style to you once more. Come and join us for an "immersion" style day of workshops which are all designed to improve you as a dancer and as a lover of Latin music and dance. These are not about crazy turn patterns or "cool" moves, these are for you; no matter what your level you will benefit from these workshops. 🔸🔹11am-12pm: Immersion 1 - Salsa Musicality🔹🔸 Learn about how salsa music is constructed and all the instruments and rhythms that bring it together, and how you should be dancing when. Guaranteed to have you hearing salsa music in a completely different way. 🔸🔹12.15pm-1.45pm: Immersion 2 - Body Movement and Dance Technique 🔹🔸 Ever wondered how world champions and other elite dancers seem to be able get so much movement from their bodies even when the music is fast? Or how they can be so comfortable dancing slowly? Designed for both salsa and bachata dancers, this is all about the intricacies of footwork and body movement, and how to move through each dance. This workshop is all about improving you with small movements and changes that will have a big impact on the way you move. 🔸🔹2pm-3pm: Immersion 3 - Bachata Musicality 🔹🔸 Never miss a break again! This has the same focus as the salsa musicality workshop but with a focus on the instruments and rhythms specific to bachata (obviously!). Pricing 1 x 60/90min workshop: $25/$35 2 x workshops (1 x 60min + 1 x 90min): $55 Full Immersion: $65 We highly recommend you attend the full day or, if a particular style "is not your style" then no worries at all, but please consider doing the body movement technique workshop together with the musicality workshop of your choice. They're designed to work hand in hand and together will provide you with a comprehensive learning experience not often available in Adelaide.
