This will be the 1st Drum and Bass offering in our brand-new dance space! James also joined us at the Ecstatic Dance Festival last year with his awesome sets and sound system! Come along for a club-like dance experience -but not in the club! Held in a spacious dance space. There is no bar, no one is selling you drinks and the main guideline is no talking on the dancefloor! You come to just dance! Everyone comes to Dance! Something magical, alchemical, transformational even, can happen on a dancefloor, where everyone who is there, is there to dance. Come to dance, come to sweat, come to move, play, connect, stretch, sound, unwind, renew, release, contact dance, improvise, and transform. Be true to yourself, while respecting others in the sacred space we create together. With a scorching soundtrack of Drum and bass to empower your journey. You're invited to come discover MVMNT for yourself! ABOUT JAMES BUCHANAN: His passion for drum & bass was born growing up in London and was influenced by the music of the day. Pirate radio, Drum & Bass clubs, and the UK Bass Music scene. His creativity was kindled with the potential of the finely detailed dynamics of high-quality speakers with which to deliver a digital sound experience in the best possible way. Once he lovingly built the sound system, he realised only certain music translates to his finely detailed speakers. That there is his mission, and deep intention.. to combine great music with high-quality speakers that deliver the detail and sonics that our very fine ears deserve! And so, we are in for a real treat. As well as James’ delectable taste in Drum & Bass, we will be offered the ecstatic experience and sonic delight of his sound system! We'll be including delicious ceremonial grade cacao and a beautiful cacao ceremony/guided meditation facilitated by Seth Newman to connect us with our body, our hearts and positive intention. No prior experience of dance necessary. All welcome. Our Ecstatic Dance sessions have guidelines of: No booze, No Shoes, No phones, No Chit Chat, Move However You Wish, Respect yourself and others. No late comers please. This is a shared journey from the beginning to the end and we aim to create a safe container for all dancers. If you are more than 30 min late from the start of the session, unfortunately you won't be able to join the session, please respect this and arrive on time. This is one of the very few spaces where Londoners can go out dancing on a Saturday night in London in a safe and clean sober space.
