Mystic Music Soirée - an evening of intimate songs and ethereal classical music w Charlotte & Marie

US-based musicians and songweavers Charlotte Malin and Marie Murry will take us on a mystical journey with etheric classical music compositions, songs and gently lead improvisational embodiment practices to help us drop into our hearts and bodies. This live music / movement experience will then flow into a ecstatic dance. This event will be held at the beautiful venue Sólsetrið just 25km from Reykjavik. -------------------------------------------- Flow/Timing: 19:00 - 19:30: Arrival 19:30 - 21:00: Opening Circle followed by live music, song and embodied movement practices 21:00 - 22:30: Ecstatic Dance COST: sliding scale 4,000 - 8,000 ISK ------------------------------------------- ABOUT CHARLOTTE: I’m Char – a performer, teacher, and healer guiding people into direct, communal, and transformational encounters with music. My artistic identities include violinist & violist, improviser, songwriter, group facilitator, dancer, priestess, and healer. I’m passionate about bringing audiences, clients, and students into aliveness, authenticity, and attunement through music and awareness practices. I live in Western MA and am devoted to building a rooted community that embraces new culture and sustainability. I co-curate a community hub for embodiment, arts, and spirituality in Florence MA called The Hidden Temple, and teach viola at Amherst College. ABOUT MARIE: Marie Murry (fae/they/she) is a song weaver, dream druid, death doula, & cosmic clown creature of the northeastern forests of the US. They love creating community ritual, mapping the mythic, and embodying the bard! Both a contact dancer & vocal improvisor, the union of movement and sound is at the core of her practice of somatic instrumentation. Marie Murry is so delighted to play and pray with you all!
