Nashville Jitterbugs Team - Informational Meeting Auditions

Attention Nashville (and surrounding areas) dancers: The Nashville Jitterbugs are excited to announce a new Performance/Competition Team. We will be having an informational meeting, with an open rehearsal to help us determine if the team is the right fit for you. Please come prepared to work hard, and ask any questions you might have. More information will be coming soon! Q&A: Where/When are practices? Practices/rehearsals will be held every Wednesday from 7:30-9:30pm starting March 4, 2015 What will be the cost, if any? Team dues will be paid on a monthly basis. The monthly fee will be $50/person. What do the team dues cover? Team dues will help cover weekly instruction/coaching with international instructors, floor fees for rehearsals, and entrance fees for competitions. Team members also get discounts to any Nashville Jitterbugs weekend workshops. Do I need to be an advanced dancer? No. We welcome dancers of Intermediate level and above (must know basics of Lindy Hop and Charleston) We want people who are willing to work hard, show up on time, be available for performances/contests and be an asset to the team. What will this team do? Our goal is for the team to perform at local festivals, concerts, conferences and events. We also plan to compete in the team division at Southern Swing Challenge and potentially one other event a year.
