Nathália is a trained dance instructor from Brazil and has worked with many notable zouk personalities on the international zouk scene. Archie is Houston’s own and also works the international zouk circuit performing his music and DJing. Please list your name in the comment if it is different from what is shown as your name on your PayPal account for registration purposes. *** Biographies Nathála Moura Born in the city of Goiânia, Brazil, Nathália Moura began her Brazilian Zouk dance career in 2009 at the famous Jaime Arôxa Dance School in Goiânia. Years later, she was invited to join one of the subsidiaries Jaime Arôxa team in Rio de Janeiro, during which she devoted herself to ballet and stretching classes with Márcia Pinheiro, a physical trainer at the Municipal Ballet of Rio de Janeiro. In 2014, she participated in the "1st Cabo Frio Zouk Championship" where she won 3rd place with her partner Walter Fernandes. The same year Nathália began her international dance career teaching Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira in dance congresses and workshops all over the world, including the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, England, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, and Austria. In addition, she participated in several world-renowned events such as the 2015 Zurich Zouk Congress, 2015 and 2016 Dutch Zouk Congress, 2015 Helsinki Zouk Festival, 2015 International Festival of Latin American Entertainment (FIEL), 5th Rio International Zouk Congress, and 2016 LA BKS Festival. Nathália was the first Brazilian Zouk artist to tour and establish a Zouk community in Mexico. She has taught with and danced with notable zouk instructors such as Ivo Vieira, Bruno Galhardo, and Jefferson Dadinho. She is currently living in the United States, teaching Zouk and Ladies Styling classes. Houston Zouk is exuberant to welcome her to Houston for the first time! Archie Archie, an international singer from the Houston based duo, Archie & Sizzle, has been creating music for over 15 years, and DJing longer. Archie was introduced to the art of DJing in the 6th grade, when he first fell in love with the world of music. It was then that Archie began creating mixes for classmates, drawing from various music genres. From 2005-2010 through high school and college, Archie developed and honed his musical talents and DJ skills with instrument lessons and music theory classes. Archie created many mixes and gained experience while working live events at festivals, weddings, and parties. From 2010-2015 Archie created music solo, with a group, as well as along side Sizzle for over 12 years. In the last two and a half years with Sizzle, Archie created kizomba, zouk, and afro beat music. Prior to that, Archie & Sizzle were solo artists with over 12 CDs produced under their belts as well as many music videos and performances at multiple solo events. They also released 5 singles, multiple music videos, and a 7 song EP together. Archie & Sizzle have performed at many events through out the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Portugal along side amazing and talented singers such as Elji Beatzkilla, Paulo Mac, Denis Graca, and 2Much. They have also performed with distinguished dance instructors such as Albir Rojas & Sara Panero, Enah & Carolina, Kyo & Ruana Vasquez, Curtis Seldon and other international performers. Although in recent years Archie has focused his attention on on creating music full time, he never lost his passion for the craft of DJing.
