Neotango Saturday with Laurenz

Laurenz dances and teaches a highly persuasive style of modern improv Tango. He effortlessly incorporates Soltadas, Ganchos, Colgadas, to name just a few of the tricks in his bag. His Tango is highly versatile and adapts beautifully to Traditional Tangos, Vals, Milonga and Alternativas. Laurenz is a Tango teacher and community builder in Bochum, Germany, where he is also a Professor at Ruhr-Universität. Currently, he is a visiting scientist at UC Berkeley. 1:30-2:00 pm check-in & warm-up 2:00-5:00 pm Neotango workshop with Laurenz Wiskott it is a good idea to bring comfortable clothing, heels and flats, and to start working on balance and certainty ahead of time. Ask Barbara or any of her students, if you don't know what 'certainty' means.. - we will organize a table at a nearby restaurant to have dinner with Laurenz.
