Join us for an evening of self-care, community-care, and ECSTATIC DANCE at Earthshake's Nov, 2024 monthly gathering. At a time of great division, contest, anxiety and distress, we are re-imagining our wild monthly dance space, as a cozy, caring "community care" space. Earthshake has a tremendous following of devoted dancers and exquisite human beings. During this time of political charge & the turning of the seasons, we are looking forward to turning our classic, monthly cathartic dance space into a place to restore, revive, and breathe a deep powerful breath of safety. Remember, we have more in common that we have apart. We are stronger together. We are safer together. We can support and be supported in community. We can soften so many challenges as one. Nov 1 25 Main Srteet Studio 444 8pm - Midnight $20-25 [ work exchange positions are available - please contact Brianna ] Join us for an experiment in mutual care, as we transform November's ecstatic dance floor into a temple for the nervous system: Endless cushions along the perimeters, nourishing tea, loving friends, consensual touch, healthy snacks in a big bubble of love. Lets amplify care into a world during a time of unrest. Let's prioritize listing and understanding at a time of blind bickering. Let's set an example, not just for the world, but for our own psyches to remember what comfort and safety feels like. Our goal is that guests return home feeling a little more revived, reminded of what genuine supportive community feels like, and a stronger vision of a better future, in contrast to the dismal fearful realities many harbor if "their side doesn't win". As always this is a sober space. No influence of alcohol. YES We will still have our wild and cathartic elements of Earthshake that we all know and love.
