NESTING TOGETHER

The Nestiverse and Origin Sanctuary Present: Nesting Together: A Village Building Experience When: September 25-October 2 Where: Origin Sanctuary, A pristine Micro-Eco-Village just North of Nevada City. What: A Co-created Community Gathering and Experience building a natural outdoor gathering space. Every day we will gather to weave this garden earth temple and build altars in communion with the land and the elements. We will practice, play, dance, sing, and pray together over the course of the week culminating in a weekend of ceremony and celebration. Who: US, YOU, and Whoever heads the call to come. Led by Nate Hogen aka Nature Dreamweaver the artist who has toured the country for the last 15 years building sacred spaces known as NESTs. Most notably he has built Meditation Mountain at Lightning in a Bottle Festival for 6 years and created a dreamscape of 12 sacred spaces at Beloved Festival over the course of 12 years. Intention: To organically facilitate the co-creativity of the space and the community. To weave our dreams together and practice social permaculture rooted in a philosophy of love and inclusion. Food: Potluck style and provided also by local artisan chef, Josh Raver. Cost: Donation-based. Our biggest expense is providing meals. Josh needs approximately $15 (or more if you're feeling generous) per meal. All other donations go to the land and the artists facilitating the experience. Ceremony and Celebration: A ceremony for those who have spent the most time contributing to the project and staying on the land (~20-30) will be facilitated on Saturday the 1st. There is a separate cost associated with this. More details coming soon. The Community Celebration upon completion of the Nest will be held for approximately 100 people. This will also have a separate cost to pay artists and facilitators. More details Coming Soon.
