New Haven Ecstatic Dance

We are here every Monday in the ceremonial practice of ecstatic dance! We will remind you all about these dates and announce any additional changes through email, here on Facebook and Instagram. Admission is $20 venmo or cash or you can pay in advance on Venmo @NewHavenEcstaticDance. We have a few guidelines: no shoes, no booze, and no chit-chat in the dance space. Doors open 7:15pm Opening circle 7:30-7:35 Guided warm 7:35-7:45pm Ecstatic Dancing 7:45-9:00pm Sound healing 9:00,9:15-9:30pm Ecstatic dance is a conscious dance space. Please be sure to get consent whenever you wish to dance with another. Prayer hands with a bow, or hands on the heart are suggested ways to communicate a “no, thank you!” This is a no phone device-free dance space. No photos or video. Photos and video are done by professionals only occasionally. Also, folks, it’s 2023!…so if you’re sick or not feeling well, please stay home. We can see you at the next one. See less
