New Haven Global House Party: Fundraiser for Racial Justice

This party is a blues and fusion dance party! Cities from all accross the world will be jamming to the same music all accross the globe in order to raise money for Black Lives Matter, and other POC-led grassroot organizations! Our passion for dancing and music in the blues and fusion communities are deeply rooted in African American cultures. As people who enjoy the creation of African Americans, we can't ignore the racist structure of our modern society, and we decide to take contribute to the fight against racism by making some contribution to the Black Lives Matter movement. If you can paint, bake, sew, DJ, cook, or have any fun idea of something you can contribute, please offer it for the auction! The raffle prizes will include : * 1 Pass for ECX! * 1h blues Lesson with Olivia Hilmer * Catered to your mood playlists by Emilio, Grace and Dane * Baked goods by Dane and Catherine * Artwork by Craig and Rose 6PM - 8PM : Fundraiser potluck - Bring some food to share with the attendants! Consider making a donation if you'd like to eat the food =) (please post what you're bringing) The party will start 8 - 9 PM : Fusion dance lesson Learn the basics of partner dancing and fusion dancing with Dane! 9PM - 2 AM (or whenever) : Blues and fusion dance : there will be two rooms for dancing to the stream of shared music accross the globe! 11AM : the raffle prizes will be attributed! Parking : There's off string parking behind the house!
