** NEW RUEDA WORKSHOPS ON SEPT. 27TH! **

On Saturday Sept. 27th, SALSA GRANDE will present another fun and easy-to-understand introduction to the "Rueda" format of dancing Salsa! This dynamic variation of Salsa dancing was born in Cuba, spread to Miami, and is now danced all over the world. Rueda involves two or more couples switching partners and performing synchronized moves using hand signals and vocal calls. Over a dozen of the most essential moves will be covered in just one afternoon -- for a great price! SEPT. 27TH WORKSHOPS >> Registration: 12:45pm to 1:00pm >> Rueda Level 1: 1:00pm to 2:30pm >> Rueda Level 2: 2:30pm to 4:00pm Price: $20 for one workshop (90 minutes); $35 for both workshops (3 hours) Salsa dancers with intermediate Salsa partnering skills or above are encouraged to try these introductory Rueda workshops on the afternoon of Sept. 27th. You can take just the first 90-minute workshop to get some basic exposure, or stay for both workshops (a total of 3 hours) to get a clear understanding of Rueda fundamentals that allow you to jump into social dance circles right away! Each workshop will include detailed discussions of technique, with plenty of actual Rueda practice during every workshop -- plus free bottled water will be provided.
