New Years Dance :: McCarren Park

Join us for a New Years Dance Lab in McCarren Park! We'll begin with a warmup movement class followed by an Ecstatic Dance DJ set with Omar Aena. Wireless headphones will be provided for the Ecstatic Dance. To conclude, we'll have a relaxing sound meditation and a closing circle. After the Dance Lab concludes, our friends at RebootNYC will continue to share music & amazing vibes until Sunset. Join us for this special gathering as we release the intensity and stress from 2021 and dance our visions and intentions for 2022, outdoors among the trees, on the grass, with new + familiar friends in the community. All are welcome. ❥ This is a donation-based dance, so simply come as you are and we'll have a headset for you. ❥ New to Dance Lab or Ecstatic Dance? Curious what it is? It's a substance-free, all ages community gathering where you can simply BE yourself and experience rejuvenation & inspiration through connection, dance & music! You don't need to be a 'dancer', anyone can come to experience the liberation of moving your body freely. ❥ The exact location within the park will be sent to all ticket holders via e-mail the day before the event.
