Brasiilia zouk on tuntud kui "seltskonnatants iga muusikaga", kuna see sobib enamike muusikašanritega tantsimiseks. Seega võib tantsutunnis ja zouki pidudel kuulda palju RnB ja pop muusikat. Sõltuvalt muusikast, saab zouk olla tempokas, mänguline, energiline kui ka sensuaalne, aeglane, lihtne või lausa meditatiivne. It´s known as a social dance to any music! That’s why you can hear a lot of RnB and POP music in zouk classes and social parties. Brazilian Zouk is characterized by the girls' flowing hair, playfulness, swag and freedom. Depending on the music, zouk can be fast, energetic and playful but also slow, sensual, soulful or even hypnotic and meditative.
