NEWCASTLE MONTHLY LATIN PARTY 🌺🎉 21st June (Saturday) - Salsa Competition (amateur level) Dress Code - Havana theme ⭐️⭐️Event Plan Update⭐️⭐️ 🗓Schedule- ⏰ 6:45pm Doors Open for pre-class dance ⏰ 7:00pm - 7:50pm Cuban salsa partnerwork (Beg-Imp) by Greg ⏰ 8:00pm - 8:50pm ✖️- Salsa partnerwork (Imp-Int) by Xris ⏰️ 9:15pm - Salsa competition (level-amateur) ⏰ 9:30pm - Social Latin Dance party by DJ Greg & Karthik Party includes - Bachata, salsa & kizomba - Animations - Rueda (Salsa & Bachata) - Afro house Judges for the Salsa- Amateur competition - Xris Pentland - Gregory - Lauren Bromley 🏆 COMPETITION (Any type of salsa): This competition is open to amateur dancers who have never taught or are being promoted as teachers or those professional dancers in any dance styles . Dancers from student teams or those who might have occasionally assisted are welcome to participate. Rules ✨ Amateur level competitors only ✨ Competitors will be judged on connection, musicality, presentation, technique and creativity. ✨ Competitors can execute a maximum 3 tricks/dips in one song ✨ No acrobatics are allowed (by definition, this is if either the leader or follower’s feet are both off the floor and require the support of their partner) ✨ 🏆1st prize winners (couple) : -2x tickets full pass to the Latin Heaven SBK July Boat Part & -2x tickets full pass for July entry to Salsabado ⚠️ Interested participants kindly contact us to enter the competition soon before it crosses the entry limit for participants.
