Rooted in Holland, he is a big interpreter of the style the Zouk dance, but he sings so successfully the traditional music of these three countries which mark his origins. The Roger Moreira's first success was "Menina Bo e Bela", (1988) of the album " Sucha ", recorded by the group " Dalcyf ". Two years later, he records "Calor Pessoal", who includes some music as "Amy", wrote and interpreted in the language of her mother: the Wolof, of Senegal. Nos Dilema " Calor Pessoal " and "Amar e Ser Amado" are others love stories which contributed to the success of the album. In 2000, over a short period, he was a part of Splash, beside Dina Medina and Grace Evora.
