NuBalboa 2020

Be ready and get your finest shoes, we are going to have a balboa blast! At one of the finest dance floor in Europe we will shuffle the heck out of Big Mama Swing Madrid’s ballroom. For this edition we want to focus on the social nights and having time to enjoy the city or just rest as much as you want. We will have a pretty easy going schedule so no mornings or late afternoons and everything at the same venue, easier for everyone. The fantastic teaching couples are... Shani Brown and Mel Calanglang Anni&Gašper Live bands you'd love! The Musicomaniacs (Berlin) Enric Peidro Swingtet (Valencia) + Arturo Serra (Vibraphone) on Sunday with a repertoire dedicated to Lionel Hampton Manouche Au Lait (Madrid) We will have two rooms with different music every night. The main ballroom is focused on the really swinging music from big bands while the small room can be a bit more creative, where during the wee hours can derail into… well, you should be there to find out! And we have prepared as many as 25 hours of party time!!! That is plenty of time to shuffle & chat, swivel & drink and plenty more. And while we are on the subject of drinks, let us mention that a dear dancer, DJ and fine barman will join us as well, doing all those things perhaps even at the same time. Señor Pěknej Lump will be back to delight us with his creations at the bar. Fine and tasty cocktails is what we love as much as the swingin' music!
