NY RUEDA WEEKEND OPENING NIGHT PARTY! Friday, May 1st @ 8pm

The 5th Annual New York Rueda Weekend kicks off with a party for the ages on Friday, May 1st. Join some of the best dancers around from New York, Boston, DC, Baltimore, Philly (ugh, fine, Jersey people can come too) at the official opening night bash to kick off a weekend full of rueda de casino, rumba, afro-cuban folkloric dance, and much more. The party gets going at 8pm and will wrap up at 11pm sharp, with the option of an easy walk downstairs to keep it going at Guantanamera. Drinks and snacks will be available. Featuring DJ sets by Alejandro Bouza and a possible guest set from Cedric Teamer, with tons of chances to dance rueda, suelta, and whatever other groove moves you.
