NYC Zouk Holiday Weekender with Evelyn Magyari & Derrick Lopez

🎉 Zoukeras e Zoukeros! 🎉 We're very happy to announce an exciting new weekender for Evelyn Magyari and Derrick Lopez. You will have an opportunity to learn various key zouk skills and party all night with some of the best in the world. Brought to you by Zouk Connect NYC, a group that is dedicated to bringing you new high quality events and opportunities for you to get more involved in a leadership role the community (contact us!) The weekender will include 3 days of classes, 2 Nights of High Quality Socials, and a Zouk Amor brunch party, included in the price of your ticket, from Friday, December 20th to Sunday, December 22nd. You can expect: ■ Friday Night Workshop and Social ■ Saturday Afternoon Intensive ■ Saturday Night workshop and social ■ Sunday Afternoon Workshops, starting at 1pm ■ Brunch, starting at 3pm 🎼 International Quality DJs 🎼 ■ Great Manhattan Locations This will include about 3.5-4 hours of intensive workshops and 4 - 5 hours of open level classes and exercises. Full Schedule can be found here: Bio Evelyn Magyari Evelyn is one of the best and most sought after zouk performers, teachers, and choreographers in the world. Before she decided to pursue her passion as a dancer, she was a Specialized Dental Technician. Evelyn's career started at 6 years old as a rhythmic gymnast. This was followed by street dancing throughout grade school. She acted in a show dance team and with many diverse choreographic. After school, she added salsa, modern dance, ballroom dancing, flamenco and contemporary to her repertoire. Then, in 2007 she was confronted with her destiny: zouk. She quickly fell in love with the dance and it has been her passion ever since. Evelyn has a unique and special art of moving and interpreting the music: sensually, gracefully and fluently. She has worked with many of the best and more prolific zouk leads in the world.
