SUNDAY SOUL PARTY is back! JUNE 21 on TV EYE PATIO! Celebrating sax maniac for the stars, legend, and personal favorite “MOIST” PAULA HENDERSON’s b-day! She’s assembled an all-star supergroup of heavy players that you know from their prolific work with the likes of SHARON JONES & THE DAP-KINGS, AMY WINEHOUSE, CHARLES BRADLEY & THE EXTRAORDINAIRES, and a galaxy of other iconic aggregations! All masters! They’ll be burning through three sets between 6PM and 9PM! Then, for the first time in NYC in eons, I’ll be doing a soul dance flying solo - the way I did at thousands of old SOUL CLAPs, SOUL SCREAMS, SHAKIN’ ALL OVERS, etc - turning all kinds of my favorite o.g. soul 45s from sundown deep into the night for your dancing pleasure! TV EYE starts serving frozen cocktails and other libations at 5PM when LUTHER’s starts cooking up their finger lickin’ chicken and vegan specialties! Don’t miss this one!
