Oasis: Fall Equinox Cacao Ceremony + Dance Journey at The Cypress in Hapeville

🌴 After two phenomenal OASIS events, we return to The Cypress for the final installment of this sacred embodied dance experience. Please join us in honor of the Autumnal Equinox on Sunday, September 22nd, from 4P - 8P for an authentic cacao ceremony followed by an ecstatic dance journey with Scott Houston as we celebrate the shift of the seasons together. 🍂 It's an honor to welcome Maya Moon Cacao alongside our dear community member Christina Della Iocono who will facilitate a Mayan Cacao Ceremony for this very special, seasonal event. Maya Moon Cacao aims to uplift indigenous Mayan women while preserving ancient cacao wisdom. Their company ethically sources ceremonial cacao crafted by Mayan artisans using traditional techniques. 🌿 The power of the cacao ceremony will be magnified since OASIS falls on the same day as the Autumnal Equinox. This is a time to bring balance into our lives, offer thanks for the harvest, and prepare for the approaching winter. It's also a time of turning inward as the days get shorter. Once you turn onto South Fulton Avenue (a one-way street), it's the third building on the left with four tall Cypress trees out front. PARKING: Plenty of FREE parking can be found nearby at the public lot on South Fulton Avenue (right next to the venue), in front of the post office on South Central Avenue, and by Jess Lucus Park. CHECK-IN: To reach the event space, walk down the driveway of The Cypress and enter through the back gate. You'll see the Sol Dance welcome table along the right side of the building before the event entrance. At the welcome table, have your QR code ready to scan to receive your wristband. A limited number of tickets will be available for $60 at the door, payable with cash, Venmo, CashApp or credit/debit card.
