Ocho-cortado-cortado, at Bienvenida Milonga

Variations on the familiar are the spice of tango! Ocho cortado is the name given to a very popular, brief pattern developed in tight spaces to rhythmic music. The word "cortado" means "cut." We'll take a look at the full pattern (6 steps) of the ocho cortado, and then we'll cut it further, in different ways, adding the spices of surprise and rhythm.
