About this Event

Olivia & Fernando Mini Residency These two fine dancers are currently on their 2025 tour of the USA. They reached out and wanted to add Boise to their stops! Bio: Olivia and Fernando are Brazilian tango teachers and artists, with more than thirty-year career that claims several esteemed titles and awards. They currently live, teach and perform in Buenos Aires. They are founders of the EsTudo Tango method, based on the tripod of musicality, Physics’ vectors and Laban’s movement factors. They are also producers of the EsTudo Tango International Congress in Buenos Aires, at the historical Marabú, and co-authors of the books “Temas de Tango - Argentina & Brazil” and “Solos de Tango”. You can find many of their acclaimed courses online under the names “Estudo Tango.” Olivia and Fernando have taught in over 40 cities throughout Brazil, Argentina, US and Europe. During high season, they teach regularly at "The Temple of Tango", Marabú, in Buenos Aires, every Sunday before el Milongón. On March 4, 2025, they were the object of extreme recognition at the closing of the Estudo Tango Congress, in Buenos Aires. At the initiative of the Argentine Tango Society, a non-profit organization for the promotion and preservation of the culture and history of Tango, endorsed by the Argentine Government, they received the "Nobleza del Arrabal" award and the titles of "Don" and "Doña".
