Open Information Session

If you’re interested in joining any of the touch teams starting January this is the event to on the look out for. We will be holding auditions for 4 out of the 5 teams Chicago has to offer. Please be on time we will start promptly at 2pm. Also there is a $5 fee. VERY IMPORTANT INFO BEFORE YOU AUDITION FOR A TOUCH TEAM Practice: days/times are different for each team, but are generally Thursday or Friday nights. Some of our teams meet every week others are biweekly. Monthly dues: $75 for Nueva Ola $50 for Co-ed and Footwork $30 for each additional team. $25 for the co-ed bachata training team Costume & shoes: cost should figure into your decision to join a team. All teams are required to buy a costume ($100-$140) and shoes ($75), along with other incidentals. The training team does not need to purchase costumes every season. It’s just a one time thing. Team tshirts are $20 and you need both red and black. Before you audition, make sure you can afford the monthly financial commitment, costume costs & the time commitment of official practices and on your own.
