About this Event
*** everybody welcome ***
Sunday 13/03 - 5:30pm - 6:30pm - online session
We're thrilled to be organising Upside Down again, this time in summer.
We organise a meeting to share ideas, to inspire each other and to let you be part of the festival in a more involved way. One of our values is to connect with locals and the international scene and to create this festival together. We believe a festival should serve a community and push it towards growth.
°° An example of what we will talk about °°
→ What would you like to see or what is lacking at swing dance festivals?
→ When you attend(ed) your first ever festival, what are/where you expecting? Can you think of any factors that could help you or support new attendees?
→ What are the elements that make a festival special?
→ What should we keep in mind after covid-19? Will we change something in how we were doing it?
→ How can we attract/involve more variate amount of dancers to/at Upside Down? How can we be more inclusive?
→ What can we do to make Upside Down more social and ecological?
→ What can we do to be more respectful to the African-American Legacy of swing dances?
→ Do you have an (Upside Down) idea you want to share?
→ What can’t be missing in a summer edition of Upside Down?
°° Do you want to be more involved and share your ideas? We’re looking forward to meeting you °°
You're interested but you can't make it? Happy to hear your thoughts in a personal message/talk.
